Ein Reisebericht von Christian Klisch, Klasse 8a
Last week we travelled with 72 students from class eight to England. The journey took about 15 hours. We travelled over France, Belgium and Luxembourg. In France we took the ferry from Calais to Dover. There we saw the white cliffs. In a city near Portsmouth our host families were waiting. My friends and I were in the same host family. Our host family was nice but a little strict. They drove us every morning to the meeting point and from there we started our trips. We visited Portsmouth, where we could see the big ship of Lord Nelson. In Winchester we visited the huge cathedral and in Brighton we went to the Sealife museum. We also went to Stonehenge and to the Castle of Arundel. London was my favorite trip. We saw the Buckingham Palace and Big Ben. The London Dungeon was very good and the view from the London Eye was awesome. It was sunny and warm and very interesting in England. Only the ruins were a little boring.
